On this podcast Joe has The Lucas brothers who are identical twins that are only four years into the comedy business and are already blowing it up. They have been on Jimmy Fallon, New Faces at The Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, and have a new animated series coming out on Fox. Joe thought they would be perfect for his podcast since they have a father who did 15 years in prison, they both are frequent pot smokers, and both dropped out of law school. Joe also discusses his new webseries coming out next week on www.officialcomedy.com, the closing on his house coming up on May 29th, and his gig this week at Comix in Foxwoods Casino in CT.

On episode 114 of Fixing Joe, Joe is joined by stand-up comedian and new documentary creator Bonnie McFarlane. Bonnie is married to stand-up comic Rich Vos, and Joe gets to see Bonnie's perspective on dealing with a husband who has the same kind of anxiety as him. Bonnie also discusses her anxiety as a comic, and the two talk about how comedy really works. Bonnie talks about her family life and how they were embarrassed when she started doing stand-up comedy, and would only watch her on Last Comic Standing because their friends talked about it. She tells Joe about how her parents are very cold, ignored her when she didn't live the way they wanted her to, and how they would never give her advice. Now she has her own family, which includes comic Rich Vos and their child. Joe asks Bonnie what it's like to be married to a comedian as a comedian, and Bonnie tells Joe about their intimacy issues and how he has a tough time acknowledging she's a woman. Bonnie has a new documentary coming out soon called "Women Aren't Funny", which includes interviews from comedians like Lisa Lampanelli, Sarah Silverman, Artie Lange, Chris Rock, etc. The documentary is now being shown in festivals and should be out on Netflix and television soon, so keep an eye out for that!
